Week 50 The 90th Birthday Edition
Week 50
Not much today - my "quiet time" is non-existent. Getting ready for Rennie's 90th Birthday Party today.
One of our prezzies was the chook shed - Tjeerd and I picked up the chooks during the week - and they're laying already!
We had a cold snap during the week...
(This photo is actually a good sign - the roof stays white, meaning that the insulation is working. With the old roof, there were always warm patches where the the ice had melted in the course of the day).
I took this photo to show where the sun is at 1430hrs - in the summer, the sun would move to the right of this picture, but at this time of the year it appears to move backwards from this point - we're coming up to the shortest day, so things can only get better :-)
Hardly any work done - I've been enjoying making jigs for one of our projects for next year...but it's cold in my workshop as well!
I bought two new sawblades - LONG OVERDUE! What a difference it makes...
Ben in Melbourne - only for a couple of weeks, then off to Hawaii
Have you been back to Oz mate. Hope you are well and the familly is travelling OK as well.
